Compound derived stilbenoid an estimated hopeafenol, has been successfully diisolasi and some other oligomer stilbenoid that has not been thoroughly dimurnikan polar extracts from wing skin aseton Mang plant Shorea ovalis (Dipterocarpaceae), which pemah examined previously. Phases include the separation of extraction, pardsi, and the method fraksinasi chromatography, dilanjutican with pemumian through gravity column chromatography. Compound structure of insulation is determined based on analysis of data spektroskopi UV, IR, and data benchmarking physics sera with the standard compound. At the time this research biological activity test compound has not been conducted, but data from previous researchers that the compound obtained hopeafenol showed activity with sitotoksik price LC50 = 191.6 μ g / ml in the test using the shrimp Artemia Salina benur method with brine shrimp lethality test, in addition also reported that this compound also showed activity as anti-HIV (Tukiran, etal., 2001), sitotoksik against karsinoma KB epidermoid cells, and cells sitotoksik against murine Leukimia P-388 (Ohyama, et.al., 1999). While the polar of the other faction that has not been thoroughly dimurnikan, scheduled to be inspected further, because there is still potential to get very bioaktif other compound.
